Pellston lost a tough game on the road to Inland Lakes on Monday night. The Hornets once again matched the intensity of the opposition early, but the second quarter turned a competitive beginning into a lopsided score going into the half. The Bulldog pressure really gave the Hornets trouble in the second stanza, as the majority of their 25 points came off of turnovers. Madison Hutchinson was once again a bright spot for Pellston, finishing with 7 points to go with 12 rebounds and 5 steals. Beth Minzey played her best all-around game of the season, hustling throughout and scoring 8 points to go with 8 rebounds. Emily Coffell and Talliea Jamroz also scored for the Hornets, and Vivian Dyer tallied 10 rebounds. The Hornets will look to get back on track on the road in Onaway on Wednesday. Go Hornets!
