Pellston took the trip above the bridge on Thursday, September 12 and came back with their first win of the season, topping Engadine 42-30. The Hornets jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and took a 28-14 lead into the locker room. The 3rd quarter proved to be a defensive stalemate with the score remaining 28-14 headed into the 4th. Nate Chiles and Logan Keiser each scored touchdowns increasing the lead to 42-14 before a pair of late Engadine scores closed the gap to 42-30.
The JV Hornets (1-2) make the trip to Suttons Bay on Thursday for a 6pm start (bus departs at 2:45, 2:30 class dismissal)
