Game Recap

Pellston traveled to Brimley Friday night for week 7 football action and came up short losing 49-28. For the first three quarters Pellston had a total of six points. In the 4th quarter the Hornets scored 22 points in a ten minute span. Josiah Crawford ended the evening with 101 rushing yards, 64 receiving yards, and throwing for 143 yards. He ran 1 touchdown, passed 2 touchdowns, and caught 1 touchdown having his hand on every TD of the night. Freshman Chase Zink, in his quarterback debut, threw for 113 yards including 1 touchdown pass. Lakota Worthington had 150 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. Case Kilpatrick and Josiah Crawford led the Hornets, each with 8 tackles. Mitchel Riley accounted for a key 4th quarter onside kick. Pellston hosts Posen on October 13 for Homecoming. Go Hornets!
